Cancellation Policy

At Vocal Performance Centre, we maintain a 48-hour cancellation policy for all appointments.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, a fee of 50% of your consultation will apply. For cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice or no-shows, the full fee will be charged. These fees are out-of-pocket expenses and cannot be claimed through Medicare or private health funds. To ensure fairness, these fees apply to all clients, and our client support officer and speech pathologists cannot alter them.

We understand life happens. If extenuating circumstances prevent you from attending your appointment, please contact us.

If you have cancelled more than 2 appointments while working with us, you may be placed back on our waitlist. We will contact you to discuss any future bookings and your ability to participate in voice therapy/training. Services may be ceased in the event of frequent cancellation.

How to Cancel or Reschedule Your Appointment

  1. Phone: Call us at 0423 422 446. If we're unavailable, leave a voicemail clearly stating your name, phone number, and that you are canceling or would like to reschedule.

  2. Email: Send notification to support@laurakennedy.com.au

  3. SMS: Text us at 0423 422 446

Consider Telehealth: All appointments can be converted to telehealth/Zoom sessions, even at short notice. Please consider this option before cancelling.

Payment for cancellation fees is due on the day of the missed appointment and can be made via direct debit or via a payment link sent to your phone. Please note that future appointments will be cancelled if cancellation fees remain unpaid.
